1. Agreement
By downloading, opening or playing quizzas! you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms are between you and Quizzas.
2. Who can play
You must be at least 14 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent where you live if that is higher. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these terms on your behalf.
3. Your account
You need an account to play. Keep your credentials to yourself: you are responsible for what happens under your account. Give us accurate information, keep one account per person, and tell us promptly if you think someone else is using yours.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we may reclaim a display name that impersonates someone else or that we consider offensive.
4. Fair play
quizzas! is competitive, so this section is the one that matters most. You agree not to:
- use bots, scripts, automation, modified clients or any tool that answers for you or reads answers early;
- exploit a bug, glitch or unintended behaviour instead of reporting it;
- collude with other players to fix the outcome of a ranked match;
- share, sell, rent or transfer an account, or play on someone else’s;
- harass, threaten or abuse other players, or use a display name or content that is hateful, sexual, or illegal;
- reverse engineer, decompile, scrape or interfere with the service or the servers behind it.
5. Ranked integrity
Ranking points and leaderboard positions are the outcome of matches we consider valid. Where we find cheating, collusion or exploitation, we may remove ranking points, delete leaderboard entries, void match results, and suspend or close the accounts involved — during a season or after it has ended.
6. Content you create
You may be able to write quiz questions and assemble them into packs. You keep ownership of what you write. By submitting it you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, translate, display and distribute it inside quizzas! so other players can play it.
Only submit content you have the right to submit. Player-written content is moderated, is never used in ranked play, and we may reject or remove anything that breaks these terms — including material that is inaccurate, offensive, or infringes someone else’s rights.
7. Purchases and virtual items
- Purchases are processed by Apple or Google under their own terms, and their receipt is the record of the transaction.
- Virtual items — characters, cosmetics, passes, in-game currency and anything else you unlock or buy — are a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use them inside quizzas!. You do not own them, they have no monetary value, and they cannot be exchanged for money or transferred to another account.
- A season pass grants access to that season’s reward ladder. A season ends on a fixed date; unclaimed rewards from a finished season do not carry over.
- Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their policies. If you are a consumer in the EU you also have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content — which you waive at the moment you ask us to deliver that content immediately, as you do when a purchase unlocks straight away.
- We may change the price of, or stop selling, any item at any time. That does not affect what you have already bought.
8. Availability and changes to the game
quizzas! is a live service. We add, change and remove features, categories, round types and seasons as the game develops, and we may take the service down for maintenance. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
If we discontinue the game entirely, we will give reasonable notice through the app where we can.
9. Our intellectual property
The app, its code, artwork, characters, sound, official questions and the quizzas! name and branding belong to us or to our licensors. These terms give you a personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own entertainment, and nothing more.
10. Ending this agreement
You can stop at any time by deleting your account from the app. We can suspend or close your account if you break these terms, or if we are required to. When an account closes, the licence to any virtual item attached to it ends with it.
11. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the app is provided "as is" and we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law — including your statutory rights as a consumer, which these terms do not affect.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts. The European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version, and we will notify you in the app before a material change takes effect. Continuing to play after that means you accept the new terms.
